The Lillis family were pioneers of early Coolgardie up to the 1940’s.

Thomas Joseph LILLIS born Coolgardie 22nd June 1901 to Martin LILLIS (Snr) and Bridget nee Moore. Thomas married Fanny Louisa May STEPHENSON in Kalgoorlie in 1926. May ran the Hostel with her in laws and Thomas owned and ran the Celebration Gold Mine.
