Sala Memorial – a father and son

I’m sure that you will agree that this memorial on the graves of father and son, Nicholas ‘Mick’ SALA and Martin William SALA is a most impressive one. It is in the Roman Catholic section of the Boulder Cemetery.

Nicholas ‘Mick or Michael’ SALA was buried on 2nd August 1930 aged 41 years. Cause of death unknown.

Nicholas ‘Mick’ Sala – Photo Find a Grave

William Martin SALA was born on the 29 Jul 1920 at Boulder with his twin sister, Lillian Monica SALA (Birth incorrectly registered as SALE). His parents were Michael and Monica nee SIMONIVICH. He was one of seven children. He died on 7 Sep 1936 at the St John of God hospital Kalgoorlie aged 16yrs. Cause of death unknown.

Although these deaths took place over 80 years ago, the grave is well cared for and there are always flowers placed on it.
