The town of Burbanks was gazetted in 1894, named after W. Burbank who with his mate Sheldon found the first gold there. Possibly due to its close proximity to Coolgardie, it was considered that no cemetery would be gazetted for the town. In consequence, most of those who died at Burbanks were buried in the Coolgardie Cemetery which was 9 miles away.
The following is a list of all the ‘Burbanks’ people, I could find in the
Coolgardie Cemetery, but there could be others.

Kalgoorlie Miner (WA : 1895 – 1954), Saturday 28 November 1903 – IN MEMORIAM. BOLTON — In loving memory of my dear husband, George Bolton, born Westmoore, England, well known in Newcastle district. Died at Burbanks, Western Australia, November 29, 1902. Farewell, dear wife, my life is past, Truly thou loved me to the last. Weep not for me nor sorrow take, But love my children for my sake. We saw you suffer day by day, Which caused us bitter grief, To see you slowly pine away, And could not give relief, Cold lies the heart that once beat so loudly, Sadly we miss his fond loving care, Our home is now lonely, that once was so happy, For no loving husband or father is there, It was hard to part from my husband, and father we loved so dear, A greater trial is not known. Nor sorrow more severe. — Inserted by his loving wife, Elizabeth Bolton, and two children.

The Sun 29 October 1899 – SLY-GROG AT BURBANKS.
It is just a little over a month since two unfortunate, men, Bennett and Chisholm, lost their lives at Burbanks by being practically roasted to death. A formal coronial inquiry of course was held, but the true cause of the fearful fatality, was never brought to light. Yet the police are sure things were hushed up. Reference is made to the shanty and shanty-keeper from whom Bennett and Chisholm obtained the liquor which was the means of their untimely end. This drinking den is still in existence, doing the same roaring trade that it has been doing for months past. It is kept by a man named Thomas Bell, whose nefarious business is not only known to the police but to Professor Nicholas, the manager of Burbanks mine. The worthy Professor must be aware that the existence of a gambling hell and drink dispensary on his lease places the property in jeopardy of being jumped. Such is the case, and it might be a lesson to indifferent managers if an occasional lease was forfeited. Now that the authorities have been given a hint, they should lose no time in doing their duty.

The little clothes laid by
A mothers hope, a fathers joy
In deaths cold arms does lie
Go little pilgrim to thy home
