MCAPPION Michael Henry — was aged 29yrs when he died on the 26 Aug 1920, at the Leonora Hospital. His occupation was given as a Labourer. The cause of death was Morbus Cordis, Chronic Nephritis & Heart Failure. He was the second son of Robert Michael ‘Mick’ MCAPPION (Labourer) and Caroline nee PALMER. He was born at Waterloo, Sydney NSW. He was in NSW for13yrs, and in WA 17yrs, He never married.

Michael Henry McAppion was a Sergeant in the Army with the 51st Battalion A.I.F. during W W 1 Service No 2733. Buried in Leonora Cemetery. Died after a “long illness” and had a large funeral with military honours in Leonora Western Australia.
