Margaret Morgan – grave tales

Margaret Morgan nee McGree was born in Bowden, South Australia on 18th September 1867. She was the daughter of Patrick McGree and Elizabeth Dunne.

Patrick McGree and Elizabeth Dunne were both born in Ireland.

She was the fifth child of Patrick and Elizabeth who had in total of 14 children. In 1892 Margaret  she married James Morgan (possibly in Tasmania or SA) and they had the following children:

James Morgan was born 1892 in Strahan Tasmania
Frederick William Morgan was born in 1894 place unknown
Sydney Theoadolphus Morgan was born in 1896 in Brompton Park South Australia
Margaret Mary Morgan was born in 1898 place unknown
Gladys Irene ‘Judy’ born in 1901 in Boulder WA

Margaret died on the 30th November 1902 aged 35yrs. She is buried at the Kalgoorlie Cemetery in the Roman Catholic section.  Also buried with her is her sister Bridget Buckle, wife of Frederick J Buckle who died in Boulder on 25th July 1916 aged 54yrs. Margaret’s husband, James Morgan, never re-married and died in Bullfinch WA in 1918.
