Gone but not forgotten – Kapps Deli

Kapps Store

I was recently sent the following information by Enid Russell (granddaughter of Alice Kapp), about the above photo:-This is Kapps Tea Rooms on the corner of Maritana and Hannan Street. The two people in the photo are my Auntie Ruby (daughter of Alice Kapp) and Ruby’s daughter, Laura.

Hi Moya. So excited to see Kapps Shop mentioned on outbackfamilyhistory. Unfortunately, the photo is the one of Kapps Tea Rooms on the corner of Maritana and Hannan Street. The two people in the photo are my Auntie Ruby (daughter of Alice Kapp) and Ruby’s daughter, Laura. I will be so excited to see the names of photos of North Kalgoorlie Primary School fancy dress balls – I went to that school and have some photos and vivid memories of the balls. I will try to upload the photos I have for you. Kind regards Enid Russell (granddaughter of Alice Kapp).
