Bannermans the Tobacconist & Barbers
MESSRS BANNERMAN BROS – 1900
The establishments that receive much attention and receive such deservedly at this festive season are the two fine shops of Messrs Bannerman Bros. This firm has kept pace well with the growth of Kalgoorlie and has helped very considerably towards making the character of tobacconists establishments a gratifying feature of the commercial section’ of the goldfields metropolis. Some really choice and beautiful goods are displayed by Messrs Bannerman Bros in their admirably appointed windows.
Bannerman Bros had shops at 51 Hannan Street and 38 Burt Street Boulder. Sadly the Waddington’s Building where 51 Hannan Street was located is now no more, and a new building is on this spot. The location is now where the RAC is situated.
