Australian Horse Bazaar or The Kennedy Brougham Livery Stables

The Australian Horse Bazaar was located on the corner of Brookman and Porter Street, Kalgoorlie.  The spot is now the premises of the Dept of vehicle licensing. It was known also by the name of Kennedy and Brougham at the same time.

Western Argus 1st October 1896 (Advertisement).

Two energetic and enterprising gentlemen, Messrs G. W. Kennedy and
J. K. Brougham, late of Wonnaminta and Poolamacca stations, N.S.W. respectively, have just recently set up in Kalgoorlie as livery and bait stable keepers. They evidently recognise the advantages of keeping only horses and vehicles of best description, for their stock is sound and fresh throughout. It is the avowed intention of the proprietors who carry on business as Kennedy, Brougham and Co, and whose premises are at the eastern end of Brookman street and to extend their buildings so as to provide accommodation for a yet larger plant than they now boast of.
