The three Adolph brothers were to travel to Kanowna from their home in South Australia. They were the sons of Frederick ADOLPH a farmer and Wilhemina STEF.
George Charles Otto ADOLPH b. South Australia –Went to WA Goldfields with his brothers about 1895. In 1901 lived at Golconda Street Kanowna, worked as a goldminer died age 41 in a mining accident at the White Feather Main Reef Gold Mine 15 Nov 1904 – buried in Kanowna Cemetery (no headstone) he was married to Ellen GOODFELLOW in South Australia she remarried to Henry LUTT after his death.

Ernest Friedrich Heinrich ADOLPH (Fred) witness at burial of brother Otto at Kanowna – Miner at Westonia, Collie and Meekatharra, he married Elizabeth MARSH d. 11 Feb 1929 bur Karakatta.
child – Frederick William ADOLPH b. 1892 SA bur Karrakatta 1967 married Louisa Mary MENGHINI at Youanmi 1919 bur Karrakatta, he had a greengrocer shop Subiaco & tea rooms at North Perth
children – Patricia Margaret ADOLPH b 1920 in Perth, she married Dr John Denman CRADDOC
Frederick and Elizabeth also lost a daughter, Minnie Adolph on the 8 Jul 1899 at Kanowna, she was 1 day old. They gave their residence as Lot 444, Kanowna.
The three brothers had a gold mine called Faith Hope and Charity – the first nugget sent by brothers to sister Annie in SA who had it made into this pin. The Cross is the symbol of faith, the anchor is the symbol of hope and the heart is the symbol for charity.
